I have to admit, I was a little nervous before this session, usually my clients are so excited to get their pictures taken, but Megan was really apprehensive. I can totally relate, I really hate anyone taking my picture. (Ironic I know) It was super important to me to make sure that she was relaxed and that she enjoyed herself so we could capture some beautiful maternity images for her to cherish. My usual style is to photograph really close up with a very blurred background, but in this case I wanted to pull back more. In order to do that I needed a really great backdrop, and I knew just the place! I am so happy that she trusted me with this. We took these photos at a small creek near my house at sunset. I have been wanting to photograph here for a long time but because of the super narrow docks/open water there isn’t much room. (usually I have more than one person with me and more than likely there are small children around) Everything worked out perfect for this session, beautiful mama to be, beautiful scenery, beautiful weather! I couldn’t ask for more. I hope that you all enjoy them as much as I do!!
