Hi guys! I am Lauren. I am a mom of three (two when this picture was taken!) and a wife to the most amazing man! My husband and I have two little boys, a brand new baby girl, and two crazy dogs! I was born and raised in Connecticut (Woodbury/Bethlehem ) and then I moved to North Carolina for ten years while my husband served in the United States Marine Corps. It was in North Carolina in 2013 that I started my photography business. It seems like yesterday and also a lifetime ago! If you have ever lived near a military base you know that there is no shortage of babies! I quickly realized that even though I love photographing people of all different ages, newborns were my thing! I have photographed HUNDREDS of babies over the years, and it never gets old. I have spent countless hours mentoring with some of the best photographers from around the world in workshops covering everything from lighting, to posing, to newborn safety. (Even though newborns are my fav, I love and appreciate photographing people at all stages of their lives. Engagements, weddings, maternity, newborns, baby milestones, families, high school seniors, they are all awesome in their own way!) Fast forward to my husband deciding his time in the Marines was done, we made the super difficult decision to pick up our family and move back to Connecticut. I was excited to raise my kids close to family, but the thought of closing my business that I had poured everything into for 5 years was daunting. But of course, family won and here we are!
