I had such a good time with this photo session. Their little girl is too funny! She had such a good time with the ducks at the pond that it was a little hard to get her to want to sit and take some pictures but we definitely made it work. I really loved this idea of a Grandparent’s mini session. My family all lives far away and my son is the first grandchild on both sides, so I know how important these visits are for everyone. I had a crazy time getting to this session because of a traffic jam but made it with a few moments of sunshine to spare. This was the first time I have ever had a baby who didn’t “warm up” to their cake smash. Its normal for babies to come into the studio and be a little nervous of their surroundings at first, usually once the cake is in front of them they forget all about the strange place and its game on, but Gabriella didn’t want to know anything about her cake, the balloons, or anything else we tried to entertain her with!! I didn’t take it too personally since her mom told me she wasn’t to happy for her 6 month pictures either. I will say she is such an adorable sweetheart and I am so glad I got to see her happy and smiling when she first got here! Even crying she is too cute!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Corbin is so handsome!! This little man was so good for me, as long as he was swaddled up tight! So once we figured that out, we went with it! I really loved this session, love the dark wood and the soft wool bonnet. PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

They are such an adorable couple, I cannot wait for their daughter to be born soon so we can do a cutie patootie newborn session.
